The old system couldn’t keep up with such fast growth and Proffsmagasinet needed to implement lots of new systems where the e-commerce platform would be the core. The e-commerce platform needed to be able to easily integrate with Proffsmagasinet's ERP system and other third-party systems.
Proffsmagasinet wanted to be able to customize the platform according to their needs and current business opportunities. The new platform also needed to be able to automatically scale up and down depending on spikes in traffic during campaigns. In addition, the project needed to stay within a limited budget.
All of Proffsmagasinet's requirements are now live on Virto Commerce's platform, which has the required standard plus exclusive features and is fully controlled, customized and adapted by Proffsmagasinet. The new solution is fully cloud-based and features a new DevOps process, and a module system that allows updating in small independent pieces.
The new system allows for easy addition of new channels in the same channels or new ones, and enables addition of new channels in same or new regions with an access to the shared catalog that can be easily updated and used across the business.
