Vacancy content marketing manager

We are looking to hire a talented Content Marketing Manager to take full responsibility of our inbound content marketing strategies including white papers, blog posts, web content, social media posts, ads, ebooks, case studies, webinars, videos, presentations, speeches and other demand generation content as needed. The key responsibility is to develop, implement, track and optimize the content of marketing campaigns across different digital channels that supports developing thought leadership, driving awareness and traffic, nurturing sales and closing deals.

The responsibilities

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of the content strategy including: building a content calendar, setting short-term content goals; creating a writing process and delivery strategy, managing writers; contributing to social media posts and ultimately; crafting interesting and well-researched content that drives traffic and engages site visitors.
  • Develop editorial calendar, delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met, provide regular updates to stakeholders and determine metrics for ensuring effectiveness of marketing content
  • Optimize delivery strategy for each piece, by implementing best practices and repeatedly test various tools, content formats and distribution channels with various target audience segments
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges in order to build a more effective editorial calendar
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, content owners, digital marketing, design and writing teams to produce high quality content and effective communications strategies that articulate our core benefits properly and consistently.
  • Coordinate with partners, thought leaders and other third parties to produce high quality joint content programs
  • Edit, proofread and improve content produced by your team, including conceptualizing the projects upfront, assigning projects and overseeing development and copy-editing prior to publishing
  • Build and maintain written guidelines. Ensure that all communications adhere to brand and communications standards and are written in a consistent Virto Commerce "voice"
  • Continuously measure and improve content performance
  • Share content through various channels, ensuring strong web presence
  • Receive customer and partner feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement and advocacy

The requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field
  • Proven work experience as a Content Marketing Manager for at least 5 years in the industry
  • Experience with digital marketing and social media marketing is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional internal and external content teams
  • The ability to think creatively and come up with innovative content ideas is essential. Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask in deadline-oriented environment due to tight time restraints and volume of work
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CMS & marketing automation tools
  • Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences
  • Expertise in social media platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and content skills in English. Other languages are an advantage
