Vacancy marketing director

We are looking to hire a Marketing Director who will be in charge of leading our company's marketing efforts. You will be responsible for guiding our marketing team by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing initiatives and building awareness of our company's brand and positioning. You will also be working closely with our sales department and partner community to identify pipeline opportunities and manage consistent growth by generating demand, both within our established client base and prospect accounts.

The responsibilities

  • Lead the development of our marketing plans working closely with the marketing team, sales, business development, content owners and the partner channel, in order to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy that meets business objectives that is focused on growing audiences for our solutions in order to drive leads
  • Develop marketing strategies by investigating the market trends, identifying target audiences, their current and future needs and monitoring the competition
  • Coordinate the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns that drives demand and impact the pipeline using all channels
  • Alignment with sales to review pipeline, resolve challenges and present marketing strategies and plans aligned with the sales strategies
  • Provide guidance and feedback to the marketing team in planning, directing, and coordinating marketing efforts
  • Guiding the content team in producing valuable content for the company’s online presence, marketing assets and other publications
  • Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance and consistency across all marketing and communications channels
  • Develop, manage and monitor marketing budgets and expenses and allocate resources amongst all marketing projects
  • Build, manage and coach a high-performing marketing team
  • Respond to the operational requirements of the marketing team by recruiting, scheduling and assigning staff and monitoring progress and results
  • Develop marketing staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities
  • Manage third party providers, consultants, freelancers and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and performance
  • Become the organization’s voice towards external parties such as media, stakeholders, partner channel and potential clients and build strategic partnerships and networks

The requirements

  • Master’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field
  • Proven working experience as a Marketing Director or a similar role in an international environment for at least 10 years
  • Successful track record in senior marketing roles, creating marketing plans and strategies, managing budgets and coaching a marketing team, particularly within the industry
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional internal and external teams, experience in aligning with the sales department and obtaining stakeholder buy-in on new, complex or challenging ideas is essential
  • The ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions is essential. Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Experience with digital marketing, content marketing and social media marketing
  • Familiarity with marketing tools is an advantage
  • Customer-oriented approach and attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication and content skills in English. Other languages are an advantage.
